As you know, the length of an NFL Halftime takes approximately 12 minutes of halftime. This is a rest period which occurs after the second quarter and gives the players time to relax, coaches time to devise strategies, and broadcasters time to offer analysis. During this time, fans usually watch highlights and commentary. The short break is important, though it is not that long, and helps a team get back on track before the third quarter commences.
