I’m considering hiring a self publishing consultant for my first book, but I’m not sure if it’s worth the investment. How much guidance can a consultant realistically provide compared to online resources? Do they significantly improve the publishing process, or is it something an author can manage independently? I’d love to hear from writers who have worked with a consultant did it save time, improve the quality of your book, or change your publishing experience?
